Village goes quackers

Chorley village will be holding their annual duck trail on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July.

This fundraising event showcases hundreds of elaborately decorated wooden ducks which are created by residents, groups and the children at Stottesdon Primary School and Nursery. The ducks are displayed along a village trail in nesting sites. As well as the trail, there will be homemade tea and cake, plants, craft stalls and other fun activities.

The trail starts at the Duck Inn at 11am both days or you can also join the trail at other locations during the day. Entrance is £3 and free to all children. Monies raised will be donated to local good causes.
