Going for gold

Step back in time with to the golden era of music where the jukebox roared, and feet didn’t touch the floor at a new show coming to the Place in Telford. ‘Lipstick’ invites you to put on your dancing shoes, grab yourself a milkshake and relax for an evening of back to back hits from the 1950s and 60s with this nonstop musical performance.

From the birth of rock ‘n’ roll through to the beat sounds of the British invasion and beyond, the show is packed with hits from the likes of Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, the Beatles, the Ronettes, Cliff Richard, Cilla Black and many more.

Performed by a full live band, ‘Lipstick’ features musicians direct from the West End and brings you excellent vocals, tight harmonies and an infectious sense of fun. The show starts at 7.30pm on Friday 1 November, with tickets priced at £21.50.
