Painting sensations

International Watercolour Masters (IWM) returns to Shropshire in May and will be featuring 39 of the world’s elite artists, with over 120 paintings on display. The exhibition is being organised by Shropshire artist and author David Poxon RI and is supported by arts supplier SAA.

The show will draw artists from as far afield as China, USA, Japan, and Australia. Uruguayan artist Alvaro Castagnet and Mexico’s Patricia Guzman will both be staging live demonstrations and more than 30 countries will be represented at the show. There will be at least three demonstrations each day, which will be broadcast live on SAA TV, along with workshops and a pop-up art market.

The exhibition will be staged at Lilleshall Hall and will open daily from Tuesday 5 to Friday 15 May, from 10am to 4pm. Admission is by advance ticket only, priced at £10, available from eventbrite.co.uk or the SAA at saa.co.uk/masters.
