Success in Cornwall

Much Wenlock Male Voice Choir rounded off their 50th anniversary celebrations with a tour of Cornwall, taking part in the Cornwall International Male Choirs Festival. This event attracted more than 60 choirs from across Britain and beyond in what has become the largest celebration of male choir voices in the world.

Much Wenlock were delighted to perform alongside choirs from Russia and Lithuania as well as from Scotland, Wales and other areas of England, in two evening concerts on the wonderful Cornish coast.

Particularly memorable were the daytime concerts at Trebah Gardens and also the world-famous Eden Project where they were ably accompanied by the local bird population! A video of the choir singing at Eden can be found on their Facebook page.

If you’d like to join the choir as they move into their 51st year, call 01952 728758 for further details.
