Divided by love

Winner of the Blue Peter Book of the Year Award, Private Peaceful relives the life of Private Tommo Peaceful, a young WW1 soldier awaiting the firing squad at dawn. In a new adaption visiting Telford this November, the audience can live through that final, poignant night with Tommo.

He looks back at his short but joyful past; his exciting first days at school; the accident in the forest that killed his father; his adventures with Molly, the love of his life; and the battles and injustices of war that brought him to the front line.

To book tickets for Tuesday 12 November at 1.30pm or 7.30pm, visit theplacetelford.com or call 01952 382382.
