Entrepreneurial youth

A county charity that aims to help young people succeed in business has recently introduced a new service. The Shropshire Youth Support Trust (SYST) has launched the Mentoring and Money Scheme. The ASYSTORS (‘assistors’) are a group of locally-based Shropshire companies with a passion to help young people succeed with their business vision.

SYST manager and business adviser Richard Nuttall explains, “We provide the space and support for young and disadvantaged people to create a job for themselves, maximising their business and personal potential, leading to financial independence. We understand the obstacles that stand in every entrepreneur’s path and aim to help overcome them.”
