Polar expressions

Have you ever wanted to get up close to a polar bear? Now you can, as you immerse yourself in a fascinating but forbidding landscape thanks to an augmented reality experience coming to Enginuity in Ironbridge.

‘Polar Explorers’ sees visitors surrounded on the giant screen by the awe-inspiring animals that live in the frozen North and South Poles. Join augmented reality penguins, orcas and polar bears beneath the spectacular Northern Lights – this event and Wild Weather workshops are part of the Create Nature-themed workshops taking place across the Gorge during the half-term holidays from Monday 29 October to Friday 2 November. For details call 01952 433424 or visit ironbridge.org.uk.
