Rave reviews for Classic Ibiza ahead of Weston Park return

Classic Ibiza returns to Weston Park on Saturday 15 July, bringing the unique vibe of the fabled White Isle to Shropshire. Headlined by the 32-piece Urban Soul Orchestra, the family-friendly show kicked-off its summer tour last weekend at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire, performing to a capacity audience of over 9,000 people. Going by the reaction of Classic Ibiza’s largest-ever crowd, Weston Park is in for a real treat.

Here’s a selection of what was said. You can check out all the feedback for yourself here on Facebook.

Absolutely fantastic night, travelled 5hrs to see u, didn’t disappoint! Awesome singers, orchestra, planning, staff, everything was perfect! Can’t wait for next year!
“We loved it (my 3rd time) and took our 7 and 5 year old daughters this time. They LOVED it and were still going strong at 10.30pm and have already told us they want to go again next year!”
Whether you’ve been before, or are a Classic Ibiza debutant, here’s what to expect from this year’s new-look show:
  • 5.30pm: Gates open with a new Chill-Out DJ Set. Our DJ will be spinning a selection of laidback beats as you settle into the Classic Ibiza vibe over your picnics.
  • 6.30pm: Former Pacha Ibiza resident, DJ Jose Luis takes control of the decks for his Latin House set, which for the first time includes a live jamming session with members of USO.
  • 8pm: USO take centre stage with DJ Goldierocks for the San Miguel Sundowner Set. The set includes a total of 14 tracks, including five new orchestrations from the likes of Chicane, Goldie and Laurent Garnier. USO have performed with dance music royalty, including Groove Armada and Robert Miles.
  • 9pm: USO take a short break for Goldierocks’ Deep House DJ Set. She’ll be dropping a mix of classic and brand-new Ibiza anthems.
  • 9.30pm: USO and Goldierocks are reunited on stage for The Dance Set – the evening’s main event. Packed full of house classics, the set includes 10 completely new arrangements and is accompanied by a truly awesome laser show. By the time the concert draws to a close at 11pm, you will have been transported to one of the White Isles’ iconic nightclubs, right in the heart of Shropshire.

Limited tickets are still available for Weston Park. The show is proud to support local charity Dougie Mac Hospice.

Parking is free and there are no booking fees. Bring your own picnic or visit the on-site street-food vendors and San Miguel Bar.  Adults (over 18s): £48, Children (aged 5–17): £24, Under 5s: free. Visit classicibiza.co.uk for more information.
