Midlands Air Ambulance’s pop-up charity shop

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has announced its first sustainable style charity pop-up shop at its Cosford headquarters.

Taking place may 25 and 26, the two-day charity-pop up shop will give eco-conscious shoppers the chance to donate their pre-loved goods while sourcing secondhand fashion items for the summer months. Each donation and sale of pre-loved items will directly contribute to the funding of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s vital daily operations, ensuring the advanced pre-hospital emergency can continue to reach and treat those in critical need.

There will also be local food and drink traders at the airbase, so shoppers can relax with coffee and cake while browsing the fashion collection and learn more about the charity’s clinical operations, volunteering opportunities and the benefits of Gift Aid.

Rachael Abi Rached, head of retail at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Visiting our exciting pop-up shop event is not only a great way to support our lifesaving cause, but it also serves as an important message to consider environmentally friendly options when looking to add to your summer wardrobe.

“Every item donated or purchased is a step towards a greener future while helping to save lives in our local area. We hope that this will be the first of many ‘Pop-Up Shop’ experiences at our state-of-the-art Cosford airbase.”
