The Telford and East Shropshire branch of CAMRA have launched a new magazine, Shropshire Tales, aimed at real ale enthusiasts. The magazine made its debut at the AGM at Shifnal’s White Hart pub, and branch chair Adrian Zawierka said, “I’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all who’ve been involved in getting it relaunched!”

Meanwhile, branch members are preparing for the third Shifnal Beer Festival which runs from 26 to 28 October at the town’s War Memorial Club on Innage Road. Visitors can expect over 20 cask ales plus ciders and perries. Entry is free and doors open at 5pm on Thursday and noon on Friday and Saturday. For more information see tes.camra.org.uk.
