Broseley group seeks support

Broseley in Bloom held their AGM in November. The group’s Lesley Ralston explains, “A healthy group of volunteers regularly plant up the troughs and tubs throughout the town, also taking time out to weed and feed when required. Even with this year’s wet spring and hot dry summer, once again the town centre floral arrangements were a colourful and attractive display. The now annual Plant Sale was another great success and thanks goes to all of those who donated, bought, or sold plants or gave advice.”

The committee is hoping to recruit more members this year. Lesley explains, “The present treasurer would like to retire in November and we’re looking for a replacement – a knowledge of gardening is not necessary. We encourage people who’d like to improve their CV and skill set to contact us.”
