Town to celebrate with a bang

Bridgnorth’s Christmas is set to be the best ever following a meeting which confirmed the space under the Town Hall can be used for entertainment every Thursday during the festive season. Bridgnorth Chamber of Commerce (BCC) chair Stephen Robbins says, “Now we can go ahead and start arranging the entertainment we want to put on to complement our late-night shopping evenings, making each one an event in itself to draw people to the town. We’re hoping to have choirs singing carols, possibly a film, and other entertainment as well – details are still to be confirmed.”

The free park and ride will also be operating on Saturdays 10 and 17 December to help festive visitors get to the shops with ease, and BCC and other local groups are hoping pubs and restaurants will get in the festive spirit by offering deals and discounts, with the Eat, Drink & Shop campaign running again – visit bridgnorthcofc.co.uk for details.
