Together at Christmas

Bridgnorth Christmas

Now in its third year, the Bridgnorth group Together at Christmas is looking for help.

“For many, Christmas is a time of year for enjoying the company of family and friends,” explained spokesperson Alan Muscat. “But for some, due to circumstances, loneliness, or perhaps not having the means, this isn’t the case. The aim of Together at Christmas is to provide a Christmas dinner for such people on Christmas day.”

As well as providing a meal, the group also aims to give attendees a warm and friendly day out.

The group would like to hear from people with ideas about who would benefit most from an invitation. “Once a potential guest has registered an interest, we’ll visit them with a personal invitation and welcome them as dedicated hosts on their table on the day, helping them feel at ease,” said Alan.

For more information, call 01746 768129 or pop in to 7 West Castle Street (next to Bridgnorth Baptist Church), Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.
