Cuan House charity shop in call for volunteers

Cuan House, which helps to raise funds for the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Much Wenlock are appealing for volunteers to assist in the running of their charity shop in the town.

The charity, whose patron is TV actor John Challis, has been helping rescue and rehabilitate all types of wildlife including swans, hedgehogs and small birds of prey for the past 20 years and long term plans include a new build hospital.

“The shop which opened in May has become increasingly busy and we are desperately short of volunteers, so if anyone is interested in giving up a little bit of their time to assist us, we would be very grateful”, said Rachell Moss, Charity Shop Manager.
